On Tuesday, February 8, 2022, The Director-General of the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (NIALS), Prof Muhammed Tawfiq Ladan led His Excellency, the Vice President of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, and the Executive Governor of Kano State, His Excellency, Dr Umar Ganduje, the Vice-Chancellor of BUK Prof. Sagir and the NALT President/ Dean of law BUK Prof UM Shuaibu to the unveiling ceremony of the NALT Citation guide for legal research in Nigeria at the 53rd NALT Conference Opening session in Kano State.
The Nigerian Association of Law Teachers (NALT) Research Guide is dedicated to the late MOU Gasiokwu, an erudite professor of Law whose career pathway traversed two Universities in Nigeria – the University of Jos and Delta State University. He will be remembered for his mentorship role in imparting knowledge to the generation of legal academics in Nigeria. The popular Slogan of the late erudite Professor is: “Research is a Continuum”.
